For the first time in nearly three-hundred-years, the Stewart Christie & Co. Edinburgh store in Queen Street, has an entire floor dedicated to ladies attire. With our knowledge of specialist and bespoke tailoring and our experience with cloth including tweed, we can create truly unique pieces with any manner of details and features. From formal city outfits, durable enough to stand up to the rigours of the modern working world; to country couture, for those weekends away in Scotland or further afield or when you want to add your own personal touch to an outfit for the shoot.
Drawing inspiration from classic, timeless styles, the ladies collections are a constantly evolving, never echoing current trends too closely as we believe what is good today should look as well in five or ten years. Choosing the right fabric for the right garment is the start of the process, and our current styles are designed to be personalised with cut and detail.
